I-20 Ramp to Carrier Parkway Closed This Weekend

Detour will be in place to assist with traffic

GRAND PRAIRIE – The Texas Department of Transportation is allowing the eastbound exit ramp from I-20 to Carrier Parkway to be closed continuously beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21 - 6 a.m. Aug.24, 2009.

Traffic will be detoured to FM 1382 back to westbound I-20 to the Carrier Parkway exit.

All closures are weather permitting. Detour signage has been placed and portable message boards have been advertising the lane closure at these locations for more than seven days prior.

 This work is part of an $18 million “bundle bid contract” for routine maintenance in Dallas County over the next two years.
