I-20 entrance ramp to close for two nights

Full depth roadway repair to affect ramps from I-35E to I-20 

DALLAS – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is allowing the ramp from southbound I-35E to eastbound I-20 to be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday, August 17-18. 

Traffic will be detoured south on I-35E to Wintergreen and perform a U-turn back to northbound I-35E and back to I-20 eastbound. 

All closures are weather permitting. Detour signage has been placed and portable message boards have been advertising the lane closure at these locations for more than seven days prior. 

This work is part of an $18 million “bundle bid contract” for routine maintenance in Dallas County over the next two years.
