WAXAHACHIE - Michael Shane Wilson, 26, was arrested Monday, July 27 at the Wal-Mart off of Highway 77.

Information rece-ived by Ellis County Narcotics Task Force described a male in a white GMC short bed pickup truck was in the parking lot in possession of methamphetamine.

Officers from the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office and Waxahachie Police Department made contact with the person whom fit that description.

A deputy observed two small blue plastic bags fall from between the driver’s legs and onto the ground while noticing two more small bags on the floorboard of the truck.

Wilson, from Blooming Grove, was also discovered to be wanted for an outstanding parole violation warrant upon being transferred to the Wayne McCollum Detention Center.

He is currently on $50,000 bond for controlled substance. No bond is set for parole violation.
