Lancaster police collecting cell phones

LANCASTER - The Lancaster Police Department and 911 Cell Phone Bank are partnering to help victims of crime and senior citizens.

Police will collect used cell phones and submit them to the bank for refurbishing and redistribution. In return, the bank will provide the police department with 911 phones to use in emergencies and for community service needs.

Cell phones can be dropped off at the Public Safety Building, 1650 N.
