Tri-City Animal Shelter Grand Opening Aug. 15

CEDAR HILL - The Tri-City Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, 1150 E. Pleasant Run Road, will celebrate the grand opening of its new animal shelter Aug. 15 from 11a.m.-4 p.m.

Attendees can enjoy a day complete with activities including refreshments, tours of the new facility, miniature horse rides, a police demonstration from the local K-9 unit and low-cost micro-chipping will be available.

The Tri-City Animal Shelter provides care for impounded and unwanted animals through redemption, adoption and public education and receives stray, lost and unwanted animals from the citizens and animal control officers of Cedar Hill, DeSoto and Duncanville.
