2nd local beer bust

ENNIS -After Ellis County Sheriff authorities busted an employee last week at the Quick Pantry on 2201 W.Ennis Avenue, city and school district police joined together for a sting operation monitoringeight local convenient stores making one arrest.

Kalid Walid Ahamad, an employee at Ennis West-end, on 2200 W. Lake Bardwell Drive, failed to ask for identification of a minor purchasing beer.

Ahamad, 24, turned himself into Ennis Police Department on June 3.
