AFP - 18 Dead in Pakistan Hotel Blast

At least 18 people have died in a suicide car bomb that ripped apart a luxury hotel in Peshawar, Pakistan. The city has been troubled by Taliban violence. A top provincial official said the massive blast late Tuesday was likely the latest in a string of revenge attacks by Islamist militants over a six-week offensive against them. (Jun 10)
