WILMER – Chief Robert Wells’ administrative leave is still pending investigation.
"The investigation is still ongoing, outside agencies being slow to respond to a small community such as Wilmer, as well as the holiday are took a hold of the investigation being longer than expected," said Mayor Jeff Steele.
