Chamber graduates 16 participates
Midlothian – The Midlothian Chamber of Commerce graduated 16 participants in the Leadership Midlothian program on Monday, May 18, at the Midlothian Conference Center.
Leadership Midlothian, which is a program designed to identify and educate existing and potential leaders of our community, equips participants with leadership awareness that will impact the area with a positive approach to problem solving and community development.
"Leadership Midlothian is a very valuable tool to teach the participants about themselves," said Johnna Jones, this year’s Leadership Midlothian chairman.
"It also brings to light different perspectives and perceptions of how to use your leadership skills."
This year’s graduation dinner featured speaker Sissy Franklin, Leadership Midlo-thian graduate and Executive Director of Manna House.
The Leadership Midlothian committee presented the third annual Leadership Midlothian Outstanding Leader Award to a member of the Leadership Midlothian Alumni.

Henley, Prime-Lending; Charles Jameson; Marilyn Jones, CASA of Ellis County; Cynthia Lim, Ash Grove; Kimberly Mitchell, Manna House/Heaven’s Attic; Dawn Rousseau, Ellis County; and Renae Tribble, Navarro College.
