AFP - Swine Flu : St Francis Prep School to remain closed Monday
The United States declared a swine flu outbreak a public health emergency Sunday as officials confirmed 20 cases in five US states and warned that they expected more in the coming days. There are eight confirmed cases in a New York City school. That school will remain closed Monday and Tuesday. (Apr 27)

AFP - Zuma set for SAfrican presidency after ANC poll win
Jacob Zuma on Saturday claimed a "resounding" victory for the ruling ANC in South Africa's general polls, vowing to steer a steady course in government while working to unite the nation. Zuma, 67, is now certain to become president when the new parliament convenes early next month to elect the head of state, after his African National Congress scored a 66 percent victory in Wednesday's polls.
