Justice of the Peace employee to retire

  Judy Land, a long-time employee of Ellis County’s Justice of the Peace, precinct 1, will retire on April 30 of this year. 

            “Judy has worked with so many people in this community over the years, she will definitely be missed,” said Judge Bill Woody. 

            “We are encouraging all her friends, co-workers and acquaintances to send her a note or an e-mail on this occasion,” said co-worker Ellen Miller.  “We know that she would appreciate that much more than a formal retirement party.”
