WAXAHACHIE - Wednesday April 15 will be today's modernized version of the Boston Tea Party.
At the downtown courthouse a Taxed Enough Already (TEA) party will be held at the statue of Richard Ellis, whom Ellis County was named after, on the south side of the historic courthouse.
You may attend once or attend both at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Trace back the historical significance everyone can relate to about how Sam Adams and others raided the shipboard to dump British tea into Boston Harbor.
Using the TEA party as a example to speak out as a whole to protest the ongoing effort the government has to borrow, spend and create more taxes deeper into economic depression, is something that will take us back to where we should be.
Bring your signs and TEA.
