2nd free "Dump Day" offered by county

The county’s next free dump day for Ellis County residents is scheduled for Saturday, April 18 at County Precinct 1 barn, 600 N. I-45 Business in Palmer.

With Spring cleaning well underway, take advantage of a chance to dispose of trash, furniture, mattresses, yard debris, tires and car batteries.

Please note the following that may answer any specific questions you may have:

• Passenger tires without rims – maximum of 10 ..No Tractor Tires

• LATEX paint OK as long as you fill up the un-used portion of the can with kitty litter to soak up the liquid. Put lid back on can securely.

• No Freon, chemicals, or other liquids.

• Hours: 8 a.m. to noon ..OR UNTIL DUMPSTERS ARE FULL
