Ferris cancels city elections

FERRIS – During Monday’s council meeting there was a unanimous vote to cancel their upcoming city election on May 9.
No one filed during the candidate or write-in deadline.
"You know why don’t you? Nobody else wants the job," joked Billy Dunn.
Councilman Billy D. Dunn Place 2, Councilman Bill Pardue Place 3 and Councilwoman Carol Wright Place 5 will all serve out a full term.
