Four individuals were arrested in Italy

In the pre dawn hours of March 5, 2009, members of the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office, Italy Police Department, Ennis Police Department and Red Oak Police Department, executed search and arrest warrants in the City of Italy.  

Deputies and officers divided into two teams and simultaneously served the warrants in the 500 blk. of Farrow Street and the 500 blk. of E. Hwy. 34, Italy, TX.

Four individuals were arrested and booked into the Wayne McCollum Detention Center at Waxahachie.  Bonds were set by Justice of the Peace Curtis Polk.

Shenequa Roland for Man. Del. CS  Bond: $20,000

Lyndsey Wallace for Poss. Marihuana   Bond: $1,500

Edwan Wallace for Poss. Marihuana   Bond: $1,500

Kendrick Wallace three charges of Man. Del CS  Bonds total $120,000

Sheriff Johnny Brown was quick to point out that the cooperative efforts of the agencies led to this successful operation and expressed his appreciation for the Police Chiefs allowing their officers to be a valuable part of it.

Sheriff Brown also stated, “No single agency has all the needed resources to individually attack the illegal narcotics issues in Ellis County.  I stand firm in my belief that all the citizens in the county can be better served by their police  departments, sheriff’s office and precinct constables when resources are combined to combat a common issue.”
