Morning Jury Trials Canceled

ELLIS COUNTY - An ice storm warning issued by the National Weather Service prompting Ellis County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4, Judge Linda Sibley to cancel the courts morning jury trials and selections  for Wed, Jan. 28.

“Jurors come from all over the county,” a spokesman for Judge Linda Sibley said. “We don’t want to have people travelling on icy roads when it can be avoided.”

The canceled proceedings will be rescheduled.

All regularly scheduled trails for the afternoon will be held as originally planned.
