Bob Carroll appointed municipal judge

OAK LEAF - Bob Carroll was appointed municipal judge on Tuesday, Dec. 8, the latest move in the former Ellis County Court at Law No. 1 judge’s career.
Carroll, who was first elected judge in 1998 as a Republican, stepped down in 2007 to enter private law practice for a Dallas construction firm.
The former PriceWater houseCoopers attorney is also a certified public accountant.
Carroll’s appointment was scheduled for Oak Leaf’s city council meeting. Footage of the swearing-in can be found at www.ECP-TV.com.
