Committee launched for beer, wine vote

PALMER – An exploratory committee has been set up to study the possibility of launching a beer and wine petition.

With only 35 percent of the city’s 2006 gubernatorial voters needed to sign the petition, Palmer for Progress needs 258 signatures to get a proposition placed on the ballot in the fall.
