ENNIS- St.John's Catholic School, serving grades Pre-K through 12, will be facing a decision Sunday on whether it will be closing or not.

“The way Father put it, some might see it that way but, in reality we went through the same thing last year. We just need to go over our budget to make sure we have enough allotted for all we have planned in the coming school year.” We need the parents to register.” noted Carrie Miller, who's on the development committee for the school.

There is a $100.00 registration fee but this can be paid throughout the year with your monthly payments to St.John's for tuition.

The school just received a $20,000 technology grant, is working on adding football and has plans for a Texas Hold Em' tournament this June.

“Right now, we are balanced and still in good standing. Last year we started out in debt then, surpassed our expectations in fundraising.”Miller said.

Nancy Clark, a volunteer of the school and parent of 3rd generation graduates of St.John's noted “We are seeking enrollment at this time.”

For more information you can reach St.John's at 972-878-5411.
