LIFE LONG DREAM FULFILLED
Rodney Pat Ramsey, a local defense attorney, won a contest to ride in a Mig fighter, which he did Saturday, April 12 at Lancaster Municipal Airport. Ramsey, who recently finished a campaign for county/district attorney in the March 4 primary, said flying a fighter plane was a lifelong dream. "It was probably the most fun I’ve ever had," he said. "It was a bit scary to know that the ejection seats didn’t work, but I’ve never had so much fun." Piloting the plane built in Czechoslovakia as a trainer for the Russians was piloted by Jim Boede.
