FERRIS – Gail Villa, who helped build one of Ferris’ oldest eateries, passed away March 14. She was 53.

Survived by her husband Bulmaro, Villa helped transition Bea’s Café from a fire and roof damage as the result of storms.

Bea’s was mainly known for daily political discussions and meetings.

Her visitation was held Sunday, March 16, followed by a viewing at New Beginnings Bible Church outside of Ferris. A funeral procession through downtown Ferris made one last trip past the restaurant she took ownership over the past 10 years.

She was buried at Grove Hill Cemetary in Dallas. She is also survived by two sisters, Tricia and Janet, three children, three stepchildren and 13 grandkids.
