Transformer explosion lights sky

Ferris - Around 6:25 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12, a transformer exploded and briefly lit the evening sky in the alley south of Sixth Street. The sound of the explosion caused nearby residents to come outside to see what the commotion was about. No injuries were reported and power was restored.
