Ellis Christian Women's Job Corps® is an organization helping women in need.
'It's a gift of hope, helping women whose lives have changed sometimes overnight by loss of job, spousal loss, addictions, disability or illness, according to Susan Anderson, spokesperson for the organization.
'For others, it's not a change. but a way of life that's been handed down from previous generations.
'Once a person' life appears hopeless, escape can prove difficult - but not impossible.
'One needs encouragement, nurture, support and to become self-sufficient.
'But most importantly, one needs to experience God's love, grace and forgiveness, said Anderson.
Christian Women's Job Corps exists to minister to women in need with a hand up, not a hand out by providing a vast array of life skills and job skill straining, Bible study, and a missions context in which women help women.
EWCJC offers: healthy and positive relationships, a move from dependency to self-sufficiency, spiritual encouragement, life skills and job skills and a mentor to walk alongside.
