RED OAK - After weeks of investigation into last month's burglary of the Red Oak Municipal Center sources close to the investigation have said the police department has yet to come up with any suspects.
It has yet to be released how much was taken from the municipal center, but police have said it must have been someone who knew the codes to get into the building.
No forced entry was found during the course of the investigation and other sources have said it was the safe which had monies removed from it, but the police have not released this information.
'We have no clue who did it,' said Lt. Boyd Brock of the Red Oak Police Department.
It seems the investigation has stalled, but was currently still open at the time of publication.
Several people have access to the municipal center, but when questioned by reporters, Judy Grant, Red Oak city secretary, would not make any comments on an investigation which was continuing.
Several others contacted by this publication were not even aware of any incident at the municipal center.
According to Boyd, the police made efforts to find the individual or individuals responsible for the burglary, but none of those efforts panned out.
Calls to Interim City Manager Todd Fuller were not returned at the time of publication.
Anyone having knowledge are encouraged to contact the Red Oak Police Department at 972-617-7632.
