CNB held a grand opening of its new branch at HEB
Staff ReportsENNIS - Citizens National Bank of Texas held a grand opening of its new branch located in the HEB this week.

CNB was having special promotions and drawings which began Monday, July 23, for their grand opening.

CNB of Texas was also pledging $1,000 to local charities and shoppers would have the opportunity to vote for one of the six area organizations.

Each charity had a container on a table inside the bank where shoppers could drop their CNB gold coins to vote.

The charity with the most votes would receive $500 while the other five would receive a donation of $100 each.

Locally owned and operated, CNB was originally founded in 1868 and was the third oldest independent bank in Texas.

This new branch was CNB's 16th, which also has locations in Italy, Maypearl, Midlothian and Red Oak.
