Dawn has new book
FERRIS - There was a new book on the market last week which covers the spiritual journey of one of our own.
Former classifieds manager of The Ellis County Press, Sharolyn Dawn has put out her book 'Bible Talk: hidden riches of secret places.'
The big question which led Dawn on her treasure hunt of a lifetime was, 'Why did He select those particular men?'
According to the book, Dawn was recovering her health in a one-room house on her mom's farm when she began searching for codes to reveal an ancient world's lost wealth.
Dawn began writing when she was old enough to wield a pen.
It was to be a lifelong passion according to the book jacket.
Dawn was born in Ellis County and along with her two brothers grew up traveling the country with their dad and mom following the oil and natural gas pipelines.
Dawn always seemed to have a book in hand and she read and wrote her way through family tragedies and daily life.
Although she could not live without erasers, and later, whiteout, now with the wonders of cut and paste, she still considers herself more of a rewriter than a writer.
Dawn believes her purpose in life is ministering the Gospel through the written word and caring for her family.
She was a feature writer of The Ellis County Press for the last 10 years and co-owner of the Red Oak Record and plans to continue to write.
