FERRIS - Ferris native Brandy Miller is becoming very popular with the opry crowd around Texas.
She will also be perfoming in the new local Bristol Opry starting on March 31.
James Gatlin will be heading up the Bristol show which will continue the last Saturday of each month at the old school house.
Miller has several other shows scheduled including the Ennis Opry on April 14 and then onto the busy schedule on April 28 where she will be playing three shows in one day.
Miller will do a matinee show starting at 2 p.m. at The Rodeo City Music Hall in downtown Mesquite, then on to play with The North Texas All Stars who will be opening for Blake Shelton and Robert Earl Keene at the Mesquite Rodeo.
After this, Miller will be back at The Rodeo City Music Hall to do another show in the evening.
Miller will also be doing her thing at the Breham Opry on June 21 and the Giddings Opry down by Austin on Nov. 5.
If none of these meet your schedule, Miller can be seen almost every month at the Ellis County Opry in Waxahachie.
'I'm excited about being able to do what I love and having my kids and husband there with me,' said Miller.
'That is the greatest feeling about doing the music is that the places I play are family-oriented and just a wonderful down home country feel to them.'
