Ennis man wins $1 million in lottery

ENNIS - Tommy Lee Dowell, a maintenance supervisor for the Ennis school district stopped by the Kwick Pick Grocery in Ennis and bought a Run the Table lottery ticket.
Little did he know at the time that he would be scratching off to find a $1-million-dollar card.
Dowell said he planned to help his family, especially his mother, and then buy his fiancée a new car.
The Kwick Pick Grocery was eligible for a $10,000 bonus for selling the million dollar ticket.
