PALMER - Marshall Street was shut down in Palmer while the popular television series ‘Prison Break' filmed a Fox special, stunts and a piece of the show for the series when it goes back on air Jan. 22.
Garry Brown, the producer of Prison Break, said, 'The show has caught on in a very short amount of time and we love using Ellis County as a backdrop to our program.'
Brown worked on shows such as Walker, Texas Ranger, Who's the Boss and Tales from the Crypt, just to mention a few.
He went on to say, 'We've been lucky to have a staff of talented writers.'
The show planned to be back in Ellis County many times before the season ends in March and has scouted several different locations during the off season.
Fox news producers were on site interviewing several of the actors for a 30-minute special they planned to air in the near future. Prison Break was scheduled to return on Fox Mondays at 7 p.m.
