Red Oak Chamber holds annual auction Saturday

RED OAK - The Red Oak Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual auction Saturday, Oct. 21, 6 p.m. at the Red Oak Municipal Building.

This year's event is entitled, 'The Black and White Gala - The Here and Now.'

Dress for the event is black and/or white and can be dressy or casual.

Tina Askew with Prosperity Bank will be the chair for this year's auction.

Outback Steakhouse would be catering the event.
The public was invited to attend, but were asked to call the chamber office 972-617-0906 by Oct. 18 to reserve a spot for $40 per person.

Ticket price included dinner, beer, wine, margaritas and an opportunity to view and bid on auction items. Auction items include jewelry, furniture, electronics, household décor, a trip to the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas with breakfast and dinner included, also bed and breakfast trips to Jefferson and Salado, a guitar, movie tickets and more.

Contributions help the chamber continue to bring businesses and community together by supporting good business practices and promoting new business opportunities.
