PALMER - Palmer ISD has announced a decision by the Texas Education Agency to award Palmer High School an academic rating of Academically Acceptable.
Earlier this year the TEA issued a rating of academically unacceptable to the school.
The district appealed the rating due to administrative coding errors on several student tests.
'Measures have been put into place to keep this type of incident from happening again,' said Palmer Superintendent Alan Oakley.
Palmer High School Principal Phil Seay shared the outstanding news with his staff Wednesday morning, Oct. 11.
