TAGG to resume meetings

WAXAHACHIE - The Taxpayers Alliance for Good Government will resume meetings beginning in January.

Ellis County resident and TAGG co-founder Marshal Evans said the meetings would remain at the Waxahachie Civic Center the third Tuesday of each month.

'There hasn't been anything going on,' Evans said in response to numerous questions about the citizen's organization. 'There will be meetings when the [2004] elections roll around.'

TAGG was formed several years ago as a way for citizens to gather and seek input on voting, defeating bond elections, and lowering their tax rates.
