DALLAS - Todd Little, mayor of the City of Red Oak, and Joe Jenkins, mayor of the City of Waxahachie, have invited all adults to express their feelings of love and encouragement toward the children in their lives in a letter or note on Thursday, March 20 - Absolutely Incredible Kid Day®.
'I urge all adults - moms, dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles, teachers, mentors and other adults alike - to participate in Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® and make a difference in the life of a child,' said Little.
Jenkins and Camp Fire USA encourage all adults to compose a letter for Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® and deliver them to the children of Waxahachie on March 20.
It only takes a few kind, supportive words to create a lasting and positive impact on a child.
This is the cornerstone of Absolutely Incredible Kid Day®, Camp Fire USA's national 'call to action' for adults to write letters to the children in their lives.
This is the seventh annual Absolutely Incredible Kid Day®, which is celebrated on the third Thursday of each March. Camp Fire USA Lone Star Council's goal is to deliver a letter to each of the 7,029 local youth involved in Camp Fire each year. The Lone Star Council also hopes that every adult in the Dallas Metroplex will participate in the campaign by simply writing a letter to a child in his/her life.
