Local candidate sign-ups begin

ELLIS COUNTY - Candidates seeking local city and school board seats have begun to sign up for local positions that are up for reelection.

Those wishing to run for a position, can sign up at their city hall or school administration building until March 19.

The general election will be Saturday, May 3.

See the list below of the positions up for re-election in Ellis County and southern Dallas County cities:
