ELLIS COUNTY - Chev-rolet. Baseball. Apple Pie. Add Girl Scout cookies to the list of American tradition.
Local Girl Sco-uts have been tur-ning out in dro-ves selling the tasty treats, which come in a variety of flavorful mixes. Decked out in patch-laden attire and armed with order forms, local girls gain real-life skills such as money management, decision-making, and goal-setting.
Cookie orders will be taken until Jan. 26, but booth sales at local stores will begin Feb. 20.
