ENNIS - Two Ennis teenagers were arrested Thursday, Jan. 17 stemming from separate incidents.

Claudio Amador, 17, of Ennis was charged with deadly conduct and criminal mischief for allegedly participating or having association with a drive-by shooting occurring the previous weekend in South Dallas.

Police said another suspect from Ennis living in Dallas was being sought.

A residence had sustained bullet holes, but no one was reportedly injured.

In an unrelated incident, James Wesley Wilson, 19, of Ennis was arrested near Spencer Road for allegedly evading arrest following a high-speed car chase and then pursuit on foot.

Wilson was taken to the county detention facility in Waxahachie.

His bond was $5,000.

Ennis police officers Bobby Arriola and Touncey Hart apprehended Wilson. In another unrelated incident, a 16-year-old juvenile was taken into custody in the 300 block of Avenue D and charged with evading detention. He was released to his parents. Another juvenile was being sought along with the 16-year-old. Persons in the 200 block of Avenue E had reported a suspicious vehicle driving by their residence. Their house had been shot at recently. Ennis police officer D. Clark then picked up the 16-year-old.
