Keeton new director for Committee on aging

WAXAHACHIE - The Ellis County Committee on Aging Board accepted the resignation of Johnny Grant effective Nov. 15 and hired Keri Keeton of Ennis as new executive director.
Keeton has seven years administrative experience as an office manager, more than five years experience as an insurance claims representative in workers' compensation and two years of nursing experience as an aide working with senior citizens.
ECCOA has three new board members in Angelika Shore of Waxahachie, Rev. Mel Bishara of Palmer, Rev. Mary Gene Cope of Ferris, and David Howard of Ennis.
Board members from Midlothian and another from Ennis were to be appointed by January.
The ECCOA Board has made constructive changes since February 2000.
More changes will be implemented in the next three months.
The ECCOA's mission of serving the senior citizens, more than 60 years of age, will continue in Ellis County.
The ECCOA will continue to provide transportation, homemaking, and meals in accordance with its contract with the North Central Council of Governments, Area Agecy on Aging.
The ECCOA has a new mailing address. It is P.O. Box 3032, Waxahachie, TX 75168.
