WAXAHACHIE - Both the Waxahachie Police Department and the Ellis County Sheriff's Office received numerous cell phone calls about 9 p.m. Nov. 9 reporting widespread mischief.

According to reports, callers said approximately 30 to 35 teenagers, both male and female, were riding in three pickups and throwing objects at moving vehicles in the general area of Farrar, FM 813 and FM 878.

Numerous vehicles were allegedly damaged by the mischief. Approximately five or six callers also followed the suspects and kept police informed on their location.
