MIDLOTHIAN - A handful of Midlothian voters approved a $29 million bond issue to refinance the city's debt with Trinity River Authority. The vote was 289 yes and nine no out of 4,000 registered voters.
Water district officials said the water rate would not increase because Midlothian's current assets and water revenues would be enough to pay for the bonds.
