Meth lab found in Midlothian

MIDLOTHIAN - Michael Earl Welch, 33, Midlothian, has been charged in relation to the uncovering of a methamphetamine, speed, lab in Ennis on Monday. Justice of the Peace Chad Adams set Welch's bond at $75,000.
The ‘meth' lab was found at 1107 Village Dr., Monday afternoon by Det. Sgt. Dave Smith.
Smith had gone to the residence to investigate a stolen vehicle case and smelled ether, a compound used in making methamphetamine.
