Disabled vehicle burglarized in Ennis

ENNIS — Robin Morris, 44, of Kaufman filed a vehicle burglary report Aug. 22 with the Ellis County Sheriff's Office alleging items were taken from her disabled pickup while she was away.
Morris said she left her vehicle parked by the roadway on Hwy. 34 @ FM 1181 with a television set and other electronic items in the pickup bed. A towing company brought the pickup into Ennis, but the items were already missing when the truck was towed.
