FERRIS - The elderly, persons with babies and those who are destitute can still obtain electrical fans free of charge at A Cash and Mail Emporium, 209/211 W. Sixth St.
Co-owner Teresa Schiffer stipulated persons receiving fans must be those who do not have air conditioning units.
TU Electric customers can also pay their bills at the local business.
With rising temperatures and electrical costs, partial payments can be arranged if necessary.
