ENNIS - Chief Dale Holt and Lieutenant Detective Ron Roark of the Criminal Investigations Division for the Ennis Police Department said Monday evening at the regular city commission meeting the Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy Store restaurant, 900 E. Ennis Ave., was robbed Sunday at approximately 1:30 a.m.

Holt said two African-American males described by witnesses to be 18 to 20 years of age and armed with guns entered the place of business just before closing.

According to reports, the suspects forced employees, who were unharmed, into a large freezer area inside the store.

An undetermined amount of cash was reportedly taken.
