Bardwell - Timmy Aguilar, 33, of Ennis, was treated for knife wounds following an alleged aggravated robbery on May 20 in a rural area near Bardwell.

In a report to the Ellis County Sheriff´s Office, Aguilar related how he met the alleged suspect, Victor Charles Williams, 32, of Dallas, at the Bardwell Food Store. Aguilar reported he was followed from the store location by Williams and two unknown persons to a rural site on Cane Road.

Aguilar reportedly stopped his vehicle on Cane Road, where Williams pulled him to the ground and removed his wallet and a small amount of cash. Aguilar alleged Williams stabbed him in the chest with a knife, then drove away in Aguilar´s vehicle while one of the unknown persons drove William´s vehicle from the scene.

Aguilar said he was bleeding badly, but managed to walk to a rural residence where the occupant obtained medical assistance for him and contacted police.
