City issues curfew due to storms

LANCASTER - A city-wide curfew will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7a.m. A blockade has been established north at Telephone Road to south at Bayport Drive, east to Pebble Beach Drive and west to Sunny Meadow Drive. No one will be allowed within the blockade area.  

 The Lancaster Police Department will be escorting residents into affected homes until 10 p.m. tonight. This service will resume at 8: a.m. on Wednesday, April 4th. Residents that need access to these areas should report to the Brookhaven Drive and North Dallas Avenue intersection.

 A shelter has been established at the Lancaster Recreation Center located at 1700 Veterans Memorial Parkway.
