BREAKING: Possible remains of 11-year-old found

ELLIS COUNTY -  Dallas Police Department are in search of the remains of an 11- year-old boy in Ellis County.

The boy, whose name is not released at this time, might have been killed sometime last July-August according to a source in law enforcement.

Child remains have possibly been found near Ensign Road area in Ennis,  a press conference to report their findings will be held later this afternoon.

Reports indicate a relative of the child came forward searching for the boy, prompting the investigation. They did not know the child was missing.

The father has been arrested. More information to unfold as the story develops.
