Local businesses partner to help someone in need
ENNIS - In late October of this year, Dan Betts, owner of Dan Betts Muffler and Welding Shop in Ennis, suffered from a severe stroke. Since the stroke, Betts has been recovering well. Currently, he is going to therapy three times every week. However, Betts does not have insurance to cover any of his hospital expenses or his therapy expenses.
Lone Star Trash and Ennis I-Hop, located at 111 S I-45, have teamed together to host an “I-Hop Night Benefit for Betts” on Wednesday, Dec. 14, to help him with his medical expenses this holiday season.
From 6 – 10 p.m. everyone is welcome to come to the “I-Hop Benefit Night.” With a purchase of any drink and any meal, 20 percent of the purchase proceeds will be donated to Betts. A newspaper article or flyer for the event must be presented at the time of meal purchase on the “I-Hop Benefit Night” for your proceeds to be donated to Betts.
If you would like an event flyer emailed to you, please contact Tiffany Hamm at her email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
