Southbound 635 to Westbound I-30 to close for maintenance

DALLAS COUNTY – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is closing the southbound I-635 ramp to westbound I-30 beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday night, October 9 through 5 a.m., Tuesday morning, October 11 for repair work.  This closure is necessary to ensure the safety of the traveling public while crews repair the concrete on the ramp.

 Motorists wanting to travel westbound on I-30 will be directed to continue traveling southbound on I-635 to the westbound U.S. 80 exit and then continue onto the merge with westbound I-30.  Detour signage will be in place to guide motorists.

 Message boards have been posted notifying the local drivers of this upcoming closure and detour.  TxDOT would like to thank area drivers and local businesses for their continued patience and cooperation as crews work hard to complete this project as soon, and as safely, as possible.
