Noting recent gains by the Democratic Party in the Texas Legislature and in Dallas County, Rep. The South played a key role in the resurgence of the Democratic Party on a national level. This success can only be sustainable with increasing emphasis given to building and encouraging participation at the local and block level of every city.”
