ELLIS COUNTY – Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission, Ellis County Sheriff’s Office and the Ennis Police Department joined forces raiding a group of underage minors partying last Thursday, July 16 at a large barn located on Whitfill Road near Alma.
After receiving multiple tips from concerned parents there would be large amounts of alcohol with minors at the party, Ennis police sent undercover officers to the alleged location.
Once several underage minors were confirmed drinking at the party, the other agencies were called in to help with the violations.
Many citations were issued for minor consumption of alcohol with attendees coming from as far away as Oklahoma.
The list of suspects arrested are as follows :
Jamey Kelly, w/f, 17, Ennis / possession of marijuana under two ounces $1,000 bond
Matthew Aguilar
, w/m, 18, Waxahachie / possession of marijuana under two ounces $1,000 bond
Ryne Heard,
w/m, 19, Palmer / possession of marijuana under two ounces $1,000 bond
Felipe Robles
, w/m , 21, Ennis / disorderly conduct $250 cash bond
Brandon Hughes, w/m, 20, Ennis / evading arrest / detention $5,000 bond
Jared Gullantt
, w/m, 17, Ennis / minor in consumption and possession of a prohibited weapon $3,000 total bond
Frank Crist, w/m, 18,Palmer / possession of marijuana under two ounces $1,000 bond
Parents were called to the scene to pick up their underage children and claim their vehicles. Not everyone was drinking at the party according to ECSO.
